Eph 1:1 (paraphrased) Jason & Shufen, disciples of Christ Jesus by the will of God, To the saints in Singapore/Hong Kong / Shanghai / USA, the faithful in Christ Jesus: 2 Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Shufen's condition has taken a turn for the worse. On Fri morning, she went into fits / SLE strokes, and the doctors did a CT scan which confirms that the lupus is attacking the brain. She is now in a confused state, and it is scary. Seeing Shufen at such a stage, is really crushing us. But I believe God will rebuild and reshape us.
The lupus is now in an agressive stage and the doctors are preparing dialysis everyday to suppress it further. A new immunosuppressive powerful drug rituximab is also being considered early next week. The doctors are basically looking at 2 markers now to have an indicator of her condition. Platlet count (40+ now, normal 150) and LDH (400+ now, normal prob 100)
