Peace to all and thanks for keeping us in prayers! We could not have gone so far without u :)
God has really been so good to us and Shufen managed to squeeze through the kidney biopsy last Fri afternoon. The doctors were monitoring quite a few parameters (haemoglobin, platelets count etc) and were hesitant as her creatinine levels had been hovering around 515+ for a couple of days, whereas the cut off was 550. On Sat, when the doctors decide that a second round of dialysis might be necessary if the levels remain above 500, Shufen's levels dropped to 491 :P
The biopsy results should be out around this Wed I think, and would shed more light on the tissue damage to the kidney. We are prayerfully hopeful that this illness is just temporal, and encourage u to persevere on to support us in prayers.
We are approaching exactly 2 wks of stay in SGH, and fatigue creeps in. So we are asking for Godly strength and patience.
Sunday was really great, and 3 things made me exceptionally happy! :)
1st was the news that Zhi Jun received Christ last Sun, and is reading the Bible and learning to grow as a young Christian! Praise God, even the heavenly angels are rejoicing!
2nd was that Rev Tim Connell prayed for us, and more so, that I was just touched by his love & concern on me a practical stranger to them. The draw of Tung Ling does echo again. God willing, I would one day be a student there :)
3rd was that Shufen's cellet visited her, and we had a great time sharing and laughing. The rest is confidential :P
Pray, pray, pray!
Jason & Shufen
p/s: Thank God that the Caesarian operation went through successfully for Rachel & David. There were trying moments but God preserved them. Hallelujah! Pray unceasingly.
