Praise God, Shufen showed a marked improvement late last evening and more so this morning. Our prayers are really great, for we serve a great God! Amen! Shufen had great clarity of mind, and was able to put on glasses and read the words on the "nice sheep balloon" hanging off her bed. She was also able to eat her breakfast and swallow her medicine, which meant that the feeding tube and glucose IV is off. The hand restraints are also off.
With the clarity of mind, doctors are not so concerned with the results of the brain CT and MRI scans. Doctors are instead monitoring the blood pressure closely and pushing it down thru medication into the 130-150 range. Medication that helps prevents fits is also administered, so we seem to be on a stable upward trend.
At this rate of improvement, we are in "danger" of being transferred back into the normal ward soon. There are only 7 high-dependency rooms, nice, private and cosy, where i can set up the laptop and mini-office here :) of cos we understand too that these rooms are in hot demand and we should "sacrifice" as Christ did for others. (who needs the attention more)
