On mon, 13 Feb 2012, Shufen will be going for her quarterly "ballooning" or angioplasty operation.
If all things go well, she will also be hospitalised for IVIG (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intravenous_immunoglobulin)
This is a process to help reduce her very high antibodies count to prepare her for kidney transplant.
After 3 slow painful years, this IVIG will probably determine whether she can continue on with the transplant process.
We are abit hesitant, but will take things one step at a time.
Things are at times frustratingly slow (each blood test and medical review can take months), due to the medical complications, but we have been blessed by great caring doctors and medical staff :)
