The doctors wrote on the SGH discharge report, "overall an uneventful stay". Thank God it was uneventful and everything turned out well. Slight headache and nausea but still a good stay of 3 days. Shufen was discharged on Thurs afternoon from the SGH "chalet".
On Friday morning in her regular dialysis at Kovan dialysis centre, however one patient passed away and another patient was missing. Another not uncommon occurence for dialysis patients. With death and anxieties ever so close, it does change my perspectives to life.
Hopefully all things goes well and the blood crossmatching will be done 3 weeks later, and we should see Dr Kee sometime around Christmas period. If antibodies continue to fall and blood matching contines to be negative, Shufen will be admitted to SGH in early January for further preparations. Current booking for transplant operation is planned on 23 Jan 2013.
May the good Lord continue to lead and grant us peace. Hallelujah!
